Cold Service expands operation

Refrigeration contractor Cold Service has expanded its operation with the purchase of Shrewsbury based Central Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.

The new acquisition, which has a turnover of £3 million, will operate as an autonomous business within the newly incorporated Cold Service Group and will continue to be run by managing director Jason Bennett.

Central will operate in the same way as Cold Service’s Local division offering service, maintenance and small scale installation to customers in its local region, while sharing its design and project management expertise with the rest of the group.

Under the new group set-up the Local division will sit alongside Cold Service Limited, the core commercial refrigeration business which services the rac requirements of the major supermarkets clients, such as Morrisions and Co-op

Cold Service sponsors the RAC Cooling Industry Awards, which takes place on September 29th. For more information click here
