Data Power expands into IT cooling following customer demand

IT infrastructure and electrical company Data Power Limited has expanded into the air conditioning sector following customer demand.

The move includes a £75K investment together with the appointment of Chris Haddon as air conditioning design manager.

Mr Haddon says: “By linking IT networking, power and air conditioning installation we are offering a new tactical installation proposition, which avoids the common problems associated with appointing three separate contractors to work on one project.”

The Birmingham based company claims customer demand for IT cooling services has increased by 25 per cent during the last 12 months.

Steve Lowe, Data Power operations director, says: “After demand from our customer base continued to significantly increase, we found ourselves in a recurring position of having to turn business away.”
