Frascold signs warranty deal with LH
The Italian compressor manufacturer Frascold has signed up South London based LH plc to handle its warranty claims in the UK; the first of what the company says will be a total three representatives.
Howard Davis, head of Frascold UK, said: “We are currently in discussion with several companies at the moment in a bid to add a further two official warranty partners.”
Wimbledon based LH will investigate compressors referred by UK installers under Frascold’s two-year warranty scheme. Before the agreement compressors were shipped back to Italy for examination.
LH will provide initial advice followed by a detailed examination and chemical analysis of returned compressors. Findings will be presented in a technical report issued to Franscold and the customer.
Roberto Mallozzi, LH plc managing director, said: “In addition to the physical examination we use a custom analysis of compressor oils which is able to pinpoint markers for specific problems.”
