Further details announced for ATMOsphere 2010
Further details of ATMOsphere 2010 international natural refrigerants workshop have been released.
The event, to be held in Brussels on 27-28 September, will be opened on the Monday with a welcome speech by Didier Coloumb, International Institute of Refrigeration director, followed by an address from the head of the United Nation’s Environment Programme, OzonAction, on the subject of UN funding opportunities to divert from HCFCs.
The afternoon session is a retailers and suppliers session, and includes a speech by Tesco’s head of refrigeration environmental, Andy Campbell as well as talks by key personnel from Carrefour and Carrier Commercial Refrigeration.
Tuesday morning will include a focus on the global issues of switching to natural refrigerants, with speeches by governmental figures from the Maldives, Columbia and South Africa, together with representatives from the Montreal Protocol Branch. The afternoon session will be a workshop session on both heat pumps and air-conditioning.
