Refcom forms F-Gas advisory committee
Refcom has established an advisory committee of industry figures to oversee the activity of F-Gas certification and best practise in handling refrigerants.
Designed to supervise both the mandatory F-Gas certification scheme and Refcom’s Elite voluntary scheme, the committee will also advise on aspects of scheme management and audit matters, ratify all certification issued, as well as keep accreditation requirements under review.
Bruce Kirton, Refcom chief executive, said: “Setting up the advisory committee will ensure Refcom has a broad industry representation to achieve what the industry wants and needs from a certification scheme.”
Members of the committee include – Scott Gleed (Ceilite), Gareth Keller (HVCA – head of specialist services), Bruce Kirton (Welplan CEO), Barry Lyons (ACRIB), Mike Nankivell (Space Air), Miriam Rodway (ACRIB Secretary) and Mike Smith (BSRIA).
