Star Refrigeration offers chiller 'triple guarantee'

Star Refrigeration is offering a three-year ‘triple guarantee’ warranty plan for its Indigochiller cooling system.

Designed for large-scale air conditioning and process cooling, each Indigochiller comes with a three-year ‘no quibble’ guarantee, covering component reliability, efficient performance and leak-tight operation.

The guarantee includes:-

  • Fully comprehensive guarantee on all parts for three years from date of commissioning, including free repair or replacement of faulty components.
  • Free maintenance and repair should capacity and efficiency reduce by more than 10 per cent from values recorded at commissioning during the three-year warranty period.
  • Free supply and replacement of any refrigerant lost through leakage, for 36 months from date of commissioning.news

Available as an air-cooled or water-cooled unit, Indigochiller has capacity options ranging from 250kW to 1,650kW.  A robust PLC computerised control system allows the user to monitor refrigerant charge, running conditions and optimise efficiency.

The Indigo also features the company’s Turbocor compressor, which is claimed to be low maintenance by design to ensure lifelong trouble-free running.  The oil-free compressor operates on electromagnetic bearings and uses the synthetic refrigerant R134a.

Star Refrigeration’s Sales and Marketing Director Rob Lamb said: “Star is the only manufacturer to offer such a warranty plan on this type of chiller.  We’re so confident in the build quality, durability and reliability of Indigochiller that we’re prepared to furnish each unit with an impressive three-point three-year guarantee.”
