Weatherite Building Services adopts new European initiative
Weatherite Building Services is one of the first companies in the UK to adopt a new European initiative designed to improve energy efficiency in data centres and to be awarded official endorser status.
The EU Code of Conduct on Data Centres’ Energy Efficiency is a voluntary initiative and focuses on two primary areas: the IT capacity available for power consumed (IT Load) and facilities that support the IT load, such as cooling systems, PDUs and UPS.
As an endorser, WBS will work with data centre operators to help them achieve the standards and reduce their energy costs.
