Welcome to RAC online

Welcome to RAC’s new website, which aims to be the one-stop online information source for the refrigeration and air conditioning sector.

At this time of change in the industry,www.racplus.com will collect all the important news, information and opinion from across the industry in one place, so that you are kept up to date with everything that is going on from government decisions through to new technology breakthroughs and industry developments.

The benefits of the internet are that we can bring you more of everything that RAC is renowned for, and we can have more interaction with readers and users. So on this site you can see the latest developments and debate on F-Gas, R22 and alternative refrigerants, with voices across the industry giving their views.

I also urge you to visit our campaign site F-Gas Works, which is aiming to fight to retain the right to use HFCs in the face of pressure from policy makers in the UK and Europe. The best way to keep up to date with how the campaign is going and all the breaking RAC news is to sign up to our weekly email - to do this you just need to take a few minutes to register you email address here and then simply tick the RAC newsletter box in sign up panel on the left hand sign of our home page.

Well be developing the site over the coming weeks, plus I’ll be blogging online regularly so check back and feel free to email me at andrew.gaved@emap.com with your suggestions and what you think of the website.
