Advanced Engineering has announced the introduction of the all-new Promax RG 6-E refrigerant recovery device
This is Promax’s first twin-cylinder unit designed to recover the brand new class of A2L flammable refrigerants such as R32 and R1234yf.
The unit is future-proofed to work alongside these new emerging refrigerants, the Promax RG 6-E is also backwards compatible with existing CFC, HCFC and HFC refrigerants, including R410A.
Distributed in the UK by Advanced Engineering, the RG 6-E’s new spark-proof sealed switches and fuseless VDE/UL circuit breaker ensure it is suitable to work with the new A2L class of mildly flammable refrigerants being hailed by manufacturers like Daikin as the next generation of refrigerants.
The RG 6-E also employs a twin cylinder oil-less compressor and 1HP/735W direct drive motor to deliver best in class recovery rates and speeds.
Promax claim that in bench tests against the firm’s previous fastest recovery machine ever the new RG 6-E recovered liquid over 17% faster, raising the bar yet again for hard-pressed AC&R contactors, despite being smaller, lighter and quieter!
It also features a field-serviceable motor, cushion-comfort padded hand grips and a tough, hard-wearing and an injection moulded exterior.
