In a sign of heating and cooling joining forces, the New Zealand RACCA, has joined forces with the HVAC Contractors Association, to provide a forum to discuss and coordinate the views of its members in an informed environment.
The CCCA’s mission is to “establish and promote high standards of business competence and industry conduct for companies engaging in the climate controlled environment industry”.
“This is a much-anticipated move to strengthen the industry’s company associations by merging them into one united organisation”, says the chair for the establishment board Grant Price.
The structure of the organisation is to provide focus for the various industry sector groups as well as well as through participation on the governing board. The sector groups given recognition include: Mechanical services including heating and air conditioning; Refrigeration, Heat pumps, Ventilation, Suppliers and wholesalers.
The board will address industry-wide issues at the national level and the various sector groups can focus on issues pertinent to their sectors.
The official launch will occur at the inaugural CCCA Conference scheduled 26-29 October this year in Queenstown.
