The Seal Company goes into production in the UK

The Seal Company is set to open its first production unit in the UK, manufacturing a range of replacement fridge and freezer seals for commercial appliances

The company aims to become the One-Stop-Shop solution for Fridge & Freezer seals, and has put together a package to help people identify and measure their seals, which has proven to be a major headache in the past.

Coupled with the UK manufacture, The Seal Company claims to offer high levels of telephone support and service, and a rapid turnaround time on all products.

The Seal Company is primarily targeting refrigeration engineers, who want to save time looking for suitable seals, and who are interested in the additional income that can be generated from fitting replacement seals.

To aid engineers The Seal Company has put together a sample box, containing examples of all of the most common seal profiles, which will be sent to any fridge engineer when they place their first order with the company. This will be coupled with a standard price list, based on overall seal size, allowing the refrigeration engineers to identify, measure and quote on a single visit to the client.

Perry Lucas, one of the founders of The Seal Company, said: “Many of the refrigeration engineers we have spoken to, during our test marketing, have complained about how hard it is to find the right seals, especially for unbranded appliances, and how long it can take them to track down the right replacements. The Seal Company will solve this problem in one go, by offering virtually all the required profiles in one place, with help and advice at the end of the phone.”
