ACE Refrigeration has won a six-figure contract to supply refrigeration equipment for a new factory extension at the Edinburgh Salmon Company in Scotland
The indemnified design and use of ACE‘s RACE Energy Saving System was one of the key deciding factors in the £170,000 contract, ACE says.
Edinburgh Salmon Company will begin work on a 1750 sq m extension on April 23. It is undertaking the expansion to cope with an increased demand for its smoked, cooked and fresh salmon and trout. The company
ACE will carry out the project with Thomson & Partners, a multi-disciplined consulting engineering practice based in Edinburgh and the Inverness-based, McGregor Construction Ltd.
Shane McKenzie, sales director of ACE Refrigeration, said: “This deal illustrates our ability to work across a number of sectors and the seafood production and processing industry is one where we have vast experience having previously worked with Braehead SFO Limited, Inverawe Smokehouse and Scottish Seafarms.”
