ACRIB consults members over ‘unnecessary’ F-Gas measures

The Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Industry Board (ACRIB) is pressing for an urgent meeting with DEFRA to voice members’ F-Gas concerns.

The ACRIB said its F-Gas Implementation Group is in the process of collating feedback on the proposals from the various industry sectors implicated, adding that the group is also in discussions with DEFRA to ensure they are fully informed about specific areas of concern such that focus groups can be afforded the opportunity to air their views.

Mike Nankivell said, “We are pressing for DEFRA to hold a stakeholder meeting early in the New Year with a wide variety of RAC equipment end users as well as suppliers and contractors so that the real impact of the proposals and any practical limitations can be better understood.”
