Airedale International will be showcasing a number of energy-saving solutions, including refurbishment options, at this year’s Energy Event.
One refurbishment option is the upgrading from AC to EC (electronically commutated) fans, bringing potential energy savings of up to 70%.
Another option available is the optimising of building services by implementing Airedale’s ACIS Building Management System (BMS).
Installed in 780 of Iceland’s UK stores, ACIS is expected to bring the frozen food retailer energy savings of around £6.2m pa. According to Airedalke ACIS optimises a wide range of building services across multiple platforms and protocols, and provides energy analysis, remote monitoring, reporting and diagnostic tools.
The software also allows temperature set points to be adjusted, maximising free cooling.
Airedale also offers a refurbishment service allowing data centres and other critical installations to upgrade to the most advanced energy-efficient components and controls software without compromising system performance during refit.
The ‘AsNew’ service is said to provide an alternative where business continuity is key, and where budgets and logistical considerations such as space and access are a limiting factor, and in an environment where modifying floors and replacing pipework involving hot work are a major concern.
Commissioning and ongoing service and maintenance by professionally trained engineers is designed to maintain efficiency.
Airedale also offers a programme of air conditioning, design engineering and Construction Skills courses including tailor-made training for groups.
Airedale International Air Conditioning will be located on Stand No C46
