Chillventa 2012: Hybrid technology the future

The future of refrigeration will be facilitated by integrating air conditioning and heating technology, according to forthcoming industry exhibition Chillventa.

Speaking at the event preview in Dresden, Germany members of the exhibition committee stressed the need to tackle the inevitable replacement of fossil fuels, pointing to ‘hybrid’ refrigeration technology as the solution to increase energy efficiency – a major theme of the show.

The event, to be held in Nuremberg 9 –11 October , will focus on the importance of the technologies now and for the future with a variety of forums covering numerous applications including heat pumps, low energy buildings and data centres.

Speakers include representatives form ASHERCOM, EPEE and EHPA.

A massive 66,000m2 of space has already been sold making the overall exhibitor space bigger than ever, while 704 companies from 42 countries have confirmed attendance.

An exhibitor list will be available at the end of May.
