Conference programme released for Ecobuild 2014

More than 600 industry experts, ministers and VIPs from the sustainable built environment will take centre stage at Ecobuild 2014 to educate, inspire and debate.

Spanning three days, Ecobuild offers a comprehensive conference programme and is free to attend.

The 2014 conference speakers include:

  • Rt Hon John Gummer, the Lord Deben, chairman, Climate Change Committee
  • Jane Davidson, director of Inspire and former environment minister in Wales from 2007-11
  • John Sauven, executive director at Greenpeace
  • Kevin McCloud, Channel 4 presenter, writer, designer and founder of Hab Housing
  • Dr Paul Chatterton, reader in Cities and Social Change, School of Geography, University of Leeds and Secretary of Lilac MHOS Ltd

Topics include:

  • Better homes for less: Can custom-build, crowd funding and mutual home ownership solve the housing crisis?
  • Nature – market opportunity or legislative burden?
  • The Ecobuild Debate: Do we have a blueprint for the resilient city of the future?
