Air conditioning distributor acquires next door premises at Cranford Court to expand stockholding and workshops
The new premises have been completely fitted out as additional warehousing facilities and incorporate a specially designed workshop area. The additional premises add about 3,500 sq ft of space, which in addition to more stock of split systems and VRF will also enable CDL to carry more spares and accessories.
CDL managing director Darrel Birkett said: “This workshop is an important innovation for CDL as it gives us the opportunity to customise products and provide bespoke solutions for heating and cooling projects.”
Typical of the potential is that CDL can customise Toshiba floor standing units, normally part of a VRF system, to be used in split systems, where their small footprint makes them ideal.. At the other end of the scale CDL can offer a VRF condensing unit ‘flat pack service’ for sites where it is not possible to use a crane to lift the product so the outdoor units can be broken down by CDL to three or more manoeuvrable pallets.
