Cooling technology under the Royal spotlight as Duke of Kent visits Arctic Circle

Duke visits manufacturer’s Hereford HQ as company celebrates its 30th anniversary

HRH The Duke of Kent has visited cooling technolgy specialist Arctic Circle as part of a day spent in Hereford.

The Duke toured the manufacturing facility and spoke with staff. The company, which celebrates its thirtieth year next month has built a reputation within the refrigeration industry as an innovative company that invests in apprenticeships and training.

Managing Director Debbie Gittoes said: “The visit was welcomed by us all. The Duke was keen to see our manufacturing operation and was very surprised by the size of the equipment being produced - all by hand!” 

At the culmination of the visit, the workforce gathered to watch as HRH unveiled a plaque to commemorate the occasion.
