Daikin UK has expanded its retailer based refrigeration range with the introduction of the Lt-VRV total integrated system.
It uses R-410A refrigerant, which is said to provide higher heating and cooling capacity – heat recovery is 31 kW and refrigeration capacity is 21.8kW.
It’s claimed that the combination of sophisticated control system, inverter technology and the ability to use heat recovered from cabinets and cold rooms to hear the building results in an energy saving of up to 50 per cent compared with traditional systems.
The system consists of one or more inverter driven outdoor units and a system controller, while indoor units can be added as needed.
Furthermore, low temperature showcases/evaporators for frozen products can be connected via an optional Daikin booster unit, while larger installations can be supported via multiple outdoor units in a variety of configurations.
For comfort cooling and heating Daikin’s indoor unit options include two-way and Roundflow cassettes, ceiling suspended units and high or low ESP ducted units as well as the company’s Biddle air curtain – a wide range of third party units can also be supported.
System piping lengths are now 130m, with support for level differences of 35m, while indoor installation of the outdoor unit is also possible.
