Experts from across the sector, including data centre designers, operators and technology specialists will be coming to London for RAC’s major debate on data centre cooling on the morning of March 28th
Panellists have started to be announced for RAC’s Data Centre Cooling Question Time, the first of RAC’s 2014 series of debates on industry hot topics. The event, held at the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors in London is free for delegates to attend, thanks to the sponsorship of controls specialist Resource Data Management.
Key panellists include:
Robert Tozer, md of Operation Intelligence (pictured): a leading consultant with extensive experience in the mission critical facilities industry, Robert is author of over 40 papers on reliability and energy efficiency and refrigeration;
Jon Summers, senior lecturer at the University of Leeds, who chairs the High Performance Computing User Group and is an expert in thermal management, including liquid cooling techniques;
Dr Adam Beaumont, managing director of telecoms provider and data centre colocation specialist AQL
Mike West, managing director of data centre designer Keysource
The Question Time debate, held in collaboration with the Data Centre Alliance, is aimed at bringing the supply chain together to tackle the issues of current importance: including: mission critical cooling, latest design trends; the relevance of Ashrae standards; cooling technology advances; and operational considerations.
