Fuijitsu launches Mobile Technician app for Android and iPhone

Fujitsu’s Mobile Technician free mobile app is now available for Android 4.0 or later as well as i-Phones.

The company claims the app supplies vital information and helps with troubleshooting on all the latest Fujitsu splits and VRF equipment.

Its functions include sensor checking, error code explanations, indoor and outdoor LED flash count definitions, thermistor value conversion, pressure sensor value conversion and even a handy flashlight straight from the app.

To help on-site technicians even more, the app provides a troubleshooting flow chart as a pdf which is downloaded with the app.

Fujitsu technical service manager Martyn Ives said: “One of our main aims as a manufacturer is to make life as simple as possible for already busy contractors. So, instead of having to carry around a whole library of Fujitsu manuals, they can just select the error code and follow the simple 1-2-3 instructions.

“At head-office, we noticed that our technical enquiries have continued to fall since we launched the app. Feedback of first users has been positive, with engineers being able to identify and rectify faults without having to call technical support.”

To download the app go to either the Apple© App Store™ or Google Play™.
