GEA Searle mourns sudden loss of Jeremy Manktelow

Popular and influential sales manager remembered for infectious enthusiasm

GEA Searle has announced the sudden unexpected death of Jeremy Manktelow on Monday 17th August. Mr Manktelow joined Searle in 2011 as a UK Sales Manager and took over responsibility for the company’s distribution and wholesale accounts along with a number of key contractors.

Sales and Engineering Director Mark Knapman told colleagues, customers and suppliers: “Jeremy has been such an influential member of the Searle family and will be missed by all his colleagues and customers who all felt the warm friendship he offered.”

Mr Knapman paid testament to Mr Manktelow’s effect on those he encountered at work. He said: “Jeremy had an enthusiasm and professionalism which were infectious to all he met. We have never met an individual who couldn’t remember a meeting with Jeremy, and nobody had anything but praise for him. Our thoughts are with his wife Polly and their family at this time,”

  • I have worked with Jeremy for several years. He was one of the best salesmen I've ever met, with a careful, proactive, tireless attitude to serve customers. On top of that, he always displayed a very friendly and honest character. I'm so sorry. Rest in peace dear Friend.
