Hargreaves has appointed Steve Thomas as operations director, giving him full operational and commercial control over all Hargreaves projects throughout the UK.
Mr Thomas remit will cover everything from multi-million-pound contracts to supply-only agreements. He will have a pivotal role in liaising directly with project managers and manufacturing departments, as well as co-ordinating engineering, quality control and health and safety teams.
Steve, who holds an MSc in Mechanical & Engineering Project Management from Loughborough University, has worked in the industry since leaving school, having started work as an apprentice in Manchester.
He has over twenty five years’ experience in the mechanical and electrical engineering industry, operating in a variety of managerial and director roles for local and national organisations as well as overseas work in Australia.
The Hargreaves name has become synonymous with ventilation ductwork, and the company is renowned throughout the industry as a leading manufacturer and distributor of high-quality heating, ventilation and air conditioning solutions.
