HP Products distributor Thermofrost Cryo has announced the introduction of a measurement and control range for of oil and refrigerants, including ammonia, carbon dioxide and HFC refrigerants.
The range for refrigerant level measurement and control includes the HBLC level control, rated up to 150 bar with high or low alarm functions; the HBLT level transmitter which controls refrigerant levels when paired with the HBLT-C1 level controller; and the HBSR refrigerant switch.
It’s claimed that versions of the refrigerant switches and level transmitters are also suitable for use with CO2 refrigerant systems, and the HBLC-R-IP ice proof refrigerant safety switch is suitable for defrost control.
The new HBDX sensor is said to be designed to regulate DX ammonia and HFC systems, whilst the HBCP is an innovative solution for the protection of compressors from liquid hammer.
For oil level sensing and management, there is the HBSO oil switch and HBOC oil level control, the latter being suitable for HFC, ammonia and CO2 systems.
