Hitachi Air Conditioning Europe SAS’s Hi Efficiency Samurai Chiller RCME has received Enhanced Capital Allowance (ECA) scheme status.
The new Modular Hi Efficiency RCME Chillers build on the success of the previous RCU2E-AG2 Samurai Chillers and - thanks to a number of Hitachi technologies - the new models represent an optimal solution for all European medium to large-scale applications, with one of the highest seasonal energy-efficiency ratios on the market.
The new modular RCME-AH range utilises the Hitachi screw compressor, which is fully optimised for R134A and high part load efficiencies.
With the new RCME-AH range, it has been possible to achieve seasonal efficiencies up to 5.01, equivalent to the more expensive Inverter screw and turbocor chillers.
The Hitachi RCME-AH units consist of three basic modules: 106kw, 132kw and 160kw, and by combining these modules (up to a maximum of eight) it is possible to achieve a chiller combination of up to 1280kw.
The modular basis of the RCME-AH offers further advantages allowing selections based on efficiency, cost, or space and site configuration.
The RCME-AH retains the previous RCU2E-AG2 series “Steady water outlet control” providing temperature control to +/- 0.5 deg C, whilst adding a high-efficiency “Smart Control” mode.
