HVACR controls specialist RDM continues its expansion by opening Australian operation

HVACR controls and remote monitoring specialist RDM has opened a new affiliate in Australia, continuing its expansion around the world

Controls and monitoring specialist RDM has followed 2012’s opening of a US office with the unveiling of an Australian operation. The company said its exposure to Australia has increased significantly over the past four years through their distribution partner SEDAC Energy Management, with results ‘consistently delivering solutions for multiple national retailers that reduce electricity costs fast, offer attractive returns on investment and enable far broader visibility and control of sites’.

Enrico Mirandola, Group Sales Director at RDM said: “As the demand for our control and remote monitoring software solutions, such as the Intuitive & Mercury controller range, the dmTouch, and ActiveFM increases, it is vital we work with carefully selected partners that understand the local market requirements and provide technical and commercial support to end customers. With a proven track record in the refrigeration, HVAC, BMS and Energy Management, RDM Australia are perfectly positioned to provide sales and field level support to expand the reach of our solutions.”

David Van Zwienen, Managing Director of SEDAC Energy Management said: “This will enable us to fully concentrate on delivering turnkey solutions to new and existing clients and RDM Australia to expand significantly; ensuring all clients are exposed to the unique features and flexibility of the RDM controls and services.”

Craig Lewis, formerly of SEDAC Energy Management will head up RDM Australia as National Manager
