IOR extends submision for Sustainability and the Cold Chain conference

Major international conference extends the deadline for abstract submission to the 18th November

The organising committee of the 3rd International Institute of Refrigeration’s Conference on Sustainability and the Cold Chain has announced an extension to the abstract submission deadline. The new closing date for abstracts is now the 18th November 2013. Details about how to submit an abstracts can be found on the conference website www.iccc2014.com

The conference programmes will feature two themes:

The Cold Chain will bring together those with an interest in the cold chain, covering food, transport and other applications, to explore new developments and key trends in technology.  The Conference will be supported by experts from relevant International Institute of Refrigeration commissions.

Sustainability in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heat Pumps will focus on environmental issues and innovation. Topics will include the integration of heating and cooling, refrigeration containment, renewable energy in the cold chain and carbon foot-printing.

The organisers would particularly welcome applications for papers to be presented which showcase international and UK innovation in the cold chain, and practical case studies of how sustainable refrigeration technology is being introduced.

The conference is expected to attract over 100 delegates and over 60 technical papers. Discounts for authors on the registration fee for the three day event are available.

Full details of the call for papers and guidelines for authors are available at www.iccc2014.com . Abstracts of no more than 500 words should be submitted to lisa@ior.org.uk by the 18th November 2013.
