Job of the Week: Air Conditioning Engineer

Air Conditioning Engineer - London c£32k +Van Overtime. The company is a well established and rapidly growing organisation, dedicated to service and maintenance of a range of commercial clients.

It has a prestigious variety of contracts covering London and the Home Counties and an opportunity has now arisen for a Air Conditioning Service Engineer to join the team in South East London. Salary will be around £30 to £32K depending on experience plus Call out rota Payments and overtime, Company Vehicle, Mobile Phone, PDA, Uniform etc.

In this field based role you will be responsible for travelling to client sites predominantly throughout London, Kent and within the M25. As the Air Conditioning Service Engineer your role will involve carrying out service and maintenance repairs to a variety of systems including splits and multi split systems, VRVs, VRF units, cooling towers, Dx units, AHUs, Chillers and refrigeration units.

Experience of the following is required: Splits VRV/VRF Fan Coil Units Refrigeration process Refrigeration systems and components System Charging Leak detection Repairing leaks Pumping down procedures Compressor efficiency test Setting pressure switch Fault finding Charging Filter Changing City and Guilds Part 1&2 or higher, or NVQ 2 air conditioning and refrigeration Must have the new F-Gas 2079 Current clean driving licence Good fault finding skills Good understanding of BMS systems and good electrical knowledge Ability to carry out minor installation works if required
