Johnson Controls announces UK expansion

Johnson Controls has announced the expansion of its UK Industrial Refrigeration Division

Johnson controls has announced the expansion of its UK Industrial Refrigeration Division, by joining forces with refrigeration, mechanical and electrical contractor Danston Technical Services, located near Portsmouth, England.

Danston’s owner, Craig Girdlestone, and his engineering team bring a wealth of experience in providing refrigeration, electrical and mechanical services to the industrial and food industries and a reputation for excellent customer service, which will enhance Johnson Controls’ service delivery capabilities in the southwest of England.

“I wanted to grow my business with the backing of a global leader in industrial refrigeration,” said Mr Girdlestone. “The Johnson Controls team shares and supports our approach to providing differentiated, customer-focused services through local teams, but with the backup of a global team of refrigeration experts.”

“We wanted to expand our service delivery capabilities in the southwest of England and the addition of the Danston team provides the ideal foundation,” said Peter Hamilton, branch manager for Johnson Controls’ UK Industrial Refrigeration Division. “Danston Technical Services’ focus on building strong relationships with customers and delivering customised service complements the approach that we bring to the market.”
