Leading contractors sponsor RAC National Student of the Year Awards 2013

Leading contractors City Facilities Management and CBES have once again thrown their weight behind this year’s prestigeous RAC National Student of the Year Awards, with the final to to held at the Park Lane Hilton on September 25th

The RAC National Student of the Year Awards, held in conjunction with the IOR, is the leading industry competition for apprentinces and young engineers, and in a ringing endorsement of its stature, both City Faciliies Management and CBES have once again chosen to sponsor the event, and encourage ther next generation to progress through the industry.

Julian Milnes, RAC Deputy Editor, said: “Having two of the leading contractors continue to sponsor these important awards just shows the standing this event has, and by backing this, both contractors are showing their commitement in helping to encourage young engineers progress in industry.”

There’s less than a month to go to get entries in, with the deadline set at 27th June, so if you haven’t entered yet then now is the time.

The Student of the Year Award, which runs concurrently with the National Cooling Awards at the Park Lane Hilton in London, recognises the achievements of the ten best up-and-coming engineers in the country and celebrates their contribution to the industry.

The event will open with a drink’s reception for all ten finalists attending the event, to celebrate their achievement in making it through to the grand final. The top three will be awarded their accolades on the main stage at the Cooling Awards.
