Legionnaires outbreak in south Wales

A Legionnaires’ outbreak in south Wales linked to the death of a 64 year old woman and the illness of 13 people has officials focusing on large scale air conditioning systems at an industrial premises.

The outbreak is centred around the Heads of the Valleys corridor, however it has currently not been confirmed that the woman, who died in hospital on 6th September, was a victim of Legionnaires disease.
