Mueller launches moisture indicator range

Mueller Refrigeration has launched a range of moisture indicators for use in extreme operating environments.

Branded Streamline, the sight glass/moisture indicators are designed to provide accurate identification of system operating conditions by way of a large viewing window and sensitive contrasting paper indicator.

Three styles of Sight Glass/Moisture Indicators are currently offered:

  • Hermetically Sealed — Features solid-brass body construction that is hermetically sealed, allowing working pressures to 700 psig (48 bar) at a temperature range from -40 deg F to 185 deg F (-40 deg C to 85 deg C). Designed for maximum flow and minimum pressure drop. Available in six sizes from 1/4 to 7/8 inches (6 to 22 mm).
  • Hermetically Sealed, Copper Body — Features copper construction that is hermetically sealed, allowing working pressures to 700 psig (48 bar) at a temperature range from -40 deg F to 185 deg F (-40 deg C to 85 deg C). Designed for maximum flow and minimum pressure drop. Available in four sizes from 1-1/8 to 2-1/8 inches (29 to 54 mm).
  • Replaceable Element, Copper Body — Features copper construction with a replaceable brass sight glass. Working pressures to 700 psig (48 bar) at a temperature range from -40 deg F to 185 deg F (-40 deg C to 85 deg C). Designed for maximum flow and minimum pressure drop. Available in four sizes from 1-1/8 to 2-1/8 inches (29 to 54 mm).

Mueller Refrigeration Sight Glass/Moisture Indicators are compatible with all chlorofluorocarbon (CFC), hydrochlorofluorocarbon (HCFC) and hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) refrigerants and oils, UL/cUL recognized and CE certified, and in compliance with RoHS.
