Neighbours oppose plans for David and Victoria Beckham's luxury air conditioning installation

Celebrities £5m renovation plan for their £31.5 million Kensington Home brings objections from adjoining houses over noise and vibration

The plans for renvoations to the internal structure of David and Victoria Beckham’s new £31.5 million Kensington mansion have come up against objections from neighbours who are allegedly concerned over the proposal to fit air conditioning in five of its rooms. Reports have suggested that neighbours have complained both about the disrupton from the £5m refurbishment and the ongoing nuisance from the outdoor AC units. One neighbour is understood to have objeced that the AC units would spoil the Victorian nature of the street, while their constant use would cause a noise nuisance.

RAC expects the Beckhams to receive a flood of calls from AC manufacturers promising outdoor units which won’t trouble the neighbours.
