RAC Magazine’s first long-form special report considers how HFOs are being used in commercial and industrial applications at a time where the cooling industry must look beyond high-GWP refrigerants
RAC has partnered with refrigerant specialist Chemours to produce a comprehensive digital report tackling the challenges surrounding the ongoing F-Gas legislation – its bans, its quotas and the market factors surrounding it – and pointing readers towards potential solutions.
The F-Gas Regulation has been designed to see common high-GWP refrigerants like R404A and R410A replaced by lower-GWP options, so the report sets out the background and guides readers through a range of potential solutions with the new HFO refrigerants and their blends. It includes a number of case studies featuring the new HFOs in installations from both commercial and industrial end users, along with links to published industry guidance and RAC’s renowned debates.
The report is presented in an easy-to-use format, with tabs on the important topics, allowing readers to browse at their leisure.
The report is free to access here.
