Panasonic appoints new Technical Specialist

Panasonic has announced the appointment of David Livingstone as Technical Specialist.

Marc Diaz, Panasonic senior manager, said, “David’s appointment is part of our expansion programme at Bracknell and we are very pleased to have him join the team.  We are investing significantly in our people as well as facilities here and we will soon be opening our fully functioning Training Centre, which will certainly be kept busy as the response from the market has been extremely positive.  We have a raft of new appointments coming on stream this summer, and its great to welcome David on board.”

Having spent 10 years with Oceanair, David has a wide expanse of knowledge on heating and cooling products, and has significant experience in the full design and technical support service, including CAD drawings, heat load calculations and even commissioning service.  Regarding his new appointment, he commented: “I am very pleased to be joining Panasonic’s HAAE team. I look forward to the journey of learning more about Panasonic, as well as being able to provide my own expertise of the field. I realise it is an incredibly busy time, and my first week has been spent on the Panasonic stand at HEVAR.  Judging by the major interest in the Panasonic product range, we are definitely going to be kept busy.”

According to the PHAAE Managing Director, Enrique Vilamitjana, the company is focussing clearly on the UK market.  Speaking at an international event earlier this year, Mr Vilamitjana said:  “We have moved from an air conditioning manufacturer to an emphasis on both heating and cooling systems. We will be adding resources to our service, engineering and sales operations across five main countries, with the addition of 43 new people.”
