Promax launches worlds smallest refrigerant recovery machine

Promax claims it has launched the world’s smallest refrigerant recovery machine.

Said to be half the size of the company’s previous Promax unit, with dimensions similar to a loaf of bread, the RG3000 weighs in at 8kg.

The unit also features a new vibration-isolating design, which claimed to be steadier and quieter than other models, together with improved internal cooling and space utilisation, which have helped improve packaging and efficiency.

Vern Klein, sales director at Promax distributor Advanced Engineering said: “It’s not overstating things to say the RG3000 changes the game completely – and will revolutionise the way people choose their recovery machine.

“For years, we’ve been told ‘biggest is best’ – well, tell that to the engineer who has to drag it up a ladder, or carry it to the far end of a rooftop site on a cold morning.

“At half the size and 60 per cent of the weight, the new machine makes working on ladders and in remote places much easier and safer – without sacrificing that reliability and performance we’ve all come to expect.”
