Qualitair’s energy efficient cellar cooler receives ECA approval

Boost for pub trade’s bid to reduce carbon emissions

Qualitair’s Invicta Cellar Cooler and condensing unit have received ECA approval.

Both Invicta Cellar Cooler (ICC) and the condensing unit (ICUS) are listed on the Energy Technology Products List, which confirms they are energy efficient and more environmentally friendly, but also means they are eligible for the Enhanced Capital Allowance (ECA).

“By offering an ECA approved unit we are helping the pub trade to reduce carbon emissions and benefit from tax relief which can be a deciding factor when replacing kit,” explained Ron Pamplin, Qualitair’s national sales manager.

The scheme enables businesses to claim 100 per cent first-year capital allowance on investments in energy-saving equipment, against the taxable profits of the period of investment.

There are four ECA approved models offering operating temperatures between 5-23 deg C.
