January’s RAC Magazine focuses on the finalists and winner of our first ever Cooling Business of the Year award and how they have each uniquely sought to impact and improve industry practice
2018 came to a close with RAC magazine hosting its inaugural Cooling Business of the Year awards. The concept came out of our face to face judging for the Cooling Awards earlier in the year.
The prize considers a more holistic approach to operating a cooling business. This means looking to honour businesses for a wider number of focuses such as staff development programmes, community activities and environmental initiatives that may go under the radar.
Wave Refrigeration took the top prize this year with our judges highly commending the award’s other two finalists, Daikin Air Conditioning and Gel-Clear, which served as strong examples of how companies of differing sizes can more positively impact the staff and surrounding communities.
More information on the prize, which is supported by an entry fee, can be found in a special supplement in this month’s issue that can be accessed here or by clicking the image below.
