This month’s RAC Magazine looks at how some of the key themes of the inaugural World Refrigeration Day are being addressed via legislation and new approaches to retail cooling
With the first World Refrigeration Day in June seeking to build greater awareness of the pressing challenges facing the cooling sector, July’s RAC Magazine looks at how industry is looking to embrace a need for alternative refrigerants and better overall compliance with EU F-Gas legislation.
Efforts by European cooling body EPEE to clarify key aspects of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive and research into the possibility of a ‘solid’ replacement for liquid refrigerant are among other key topics covered in the magazine this month.
The issue also looks at efforts by a range of rival distributors to ensure compliance with F-Gas regulation, as well as innovative new retail shelf system cooling technology in use at Waitrose stores.
