RAC Magazine July digital issue out now

This month’s issue looks at the recent RAC Magazine Question Time, which found mixed fortunes for the cooling industry in efforts to switch to lower GWP gas

RAC Magazine’s latest Question Time event is a major focus of this month’s digital edition, with industry efforts to reclaim wasted gas such as R404A being viewed by attendees as a positive market development.

However, the panel of industry experts at the event did question industry preparedness for further F-Gas quota cuts in 2021 on the back of major cuts that came into effect in January. The quota cuts have led to a surge in prices for higher GWP gas.

The issue has also looked at strong industry support for this year’s RAC and IOR National Student of the Year award. A broad number of sponsors are now in place for the award that will be overseen by a new chairman of judges in the form of John Skelton, senior engineering manager at Sainsbury’s.

A digital edition of the magazine can be read here.
