This month we look at industry calls for global action on unregulated refrigerant, manufacturer concerns over the current direction of Brexit talks and innovative new approaches to retail cooling
In October’s RAC Magazine, we look at calls from across the global refrigeration industry for government regulators to help tackle the availability of potentially unsafe refrigerant.
The issue has been thrust into the global spotlight following a ruling from an Australian coroner on the death of two men killed after hydrocarbon refrigerant was ignited during removal of a leaking compressor in the country.
The issue also looks at ongoing calls for post-Brexit clarity from government in whether it will back regulatory alignment with the EU in line with calls from HVAC trade organisations, as well as Asda announcing it is implementing aerofoil shelf strips in 187 supermarkets.
The digital edition also includes a detailed breakdown of the projects and key innovations that took home prizes and commendations during the 2018 RAC Cooling Industry Awards held in London on September 26. Details on the awards can be read in our exclusive Winner’s Brochure.
