September’s RAC Magazine includes a look at parliamentary and industry concerns that have been raised over the challenges in tackling overheating within the nation’s buildings as government faces calls to amend Building Regulations accordingly.
A recent publication by parliament’s Environmental Audit Committee has concluded that significant technical and legislative changes are required to tackle the health considerations of rising temperatures that could exceed record breaking levels of heat recorded this summer.
Other highlights include a focus on EU-wide concerns about enforcing online refrigerant sales in line with F-Gas regulation, as well as a look at opportunities for equipment manufacturers in taking a broader cross-sector approach to recycling over the lifetime of a product.
