Resource Data Management (RDM) have announced further expansion within their new BEMS division with the appointment of Christopher Edwards as Technical Account Manager.
Launched late 2014 the success of the new division has been greater than anticipated, with the rate of growth higher than forecast. A number of major contracts and partnerships are expected over the coming months.
Having worked in technical sales and the BEMS sector for 8 years, Chris brings with him an in-depth technical knowledge across a broad range of control solutions including Siemens, Trend and Tridium with experience spanning the Pharmaceutical, Retail, Commercial, Public & Education sectors - including a number of prestigious projects for the 2012 Olympics and ITV.
On his appointment Chris said ‘’RDM was attractive to me for a number of reasons, particularly as RDM products give me the ability to provide a cost effective and truly open protocol solution with inbuilt web servers.
Unparalleled this level of flexibility provides clients with the ability to stage an upgrade plan from a third party system, amend existing RDM solutions or merely upgrade their software without unreasonably large capital outlays, couple these technical advantages with a 5 year warranty in addition to a fair pricing policy and the package is hard to ignore.’’
He added ‘’another key attraction was the timing; RDM is in the midst of a very exciting period of expansion. I look forward to positively contributing to this and will continue to develop our relationships with selected solution partners. Driving forward consultant led sales to educate the market about our extensive range of products and solutions.’’
Graeme Ross, Head of the BEMS division, said on the appointment ‘’I am excited to welcome Chris to the team; his role is core to our continued growth and success in the BEMS sector. Advising customers of which RDM products best fit their needs, he will also go on to work with them to successfully implement the solution.’’
