Resource Data Management (RDM) will use Chillventa 2012 as a launch pad for a stunning new version of its flagship Data Manager.
The new Data Manager will be equipped with a state-of-the-art touch-screen interface, enabling users to access and interact directly with all control and programming functions.
Based on the company’s pioneering Intuitive interface, launched to acclaim last year, the full colour touch-screen display gives users fingertip control of all control and monitoring functions, with the ability to customise the graphical display to suit the application and user requirements.
The expanding UK control and monitoring specialist, headquartered in Glasgow, has had a busy year, announcing a number of important strategic developments, business initiatives and senior appointments.
It launched a new US operation aimed at developing its market in North America. Based in Minneapolis, RDM USA Inc is headed by Richard Raper, appointed to the new position of USA operations director.
RDM USA supplies existing and new US customers directly with equipment, technical support and training. It has also taken over responsibility for warrantees on RDM products previously supplied through the US distributor Verisae.
Andrew Chandler, founder and managing director of RDM, says: “We have been very successful in the US, and have a proven track record with a growing list of clients in the food retail sector.
“We felt the time was right to establish a direct presence alongside our distributor Verisae to make our energy and cost-saving systems available to a wider range of customers across the US.”
In the UK, the company continues to grow and recently expanded its senior sales team to support its widening customer base and fuel strategic development plans.
Steven Nicholls joined RDM in the new role of Business Development Manager, with a brief to expand RDM’s presence in new sectors. Steve Nicoll has taken on the new role of UK Retail Operations Director, with responsibility for developing sales to the food retail industry.
