Star Refrigeration has won the Industrial/Commercial Heating Product of the Year, while Camil Farr took the Air Conditioing Product of the Year award at this year’s H & V News Awards
Star’s Neat Pump was regarded by judges as a worthy winner for its ability to capture waste heat from cooling or refrigeration processes which is then boosted to produce hot water up to 90 deg C. It uses naturally occurring ammonia as refrigerant, with zero global warming effect.
Combined with the Vilter single screw compressor, Neatpump offers reduced maintenance requirements, balanced forces that reduce wear on bearings and automatic capacity control. It is designed to work in a variety of settings, with standard packages available of between 500kW to 7.5 MW, with multiple units installed to deliver higher capacities.
Camfil Farr’s HVAC Hi-Flo M7 F7 Bag filter, is designed to deliver the required level of clean air in HVAC systems while consuming the minimum amount of energy.
The Hi-Flo incorporates high lofted air-laid micro-fibre glass. Equipped with high-quality filter materials, with small fibre damage and uniform lofting, it gaurantees a consistent and reliable sub-micron protection and support in turbulent or varying airflows.
