Fast-expanding Swedish climate firm buys €14 million turnover data centre specialist

The rapid expansino of diverse climate specialist Swegon has continued with the firm’s purchase of Econdition, a leading German distributor of data centre cooling and industrial cooling technology. With headquarters in Munich, the company employs 40 staff and reported a turnover of approximately €14 million last year. The acquisition is subject to approval by antitrust authorities and completion is expected during August.

Swegon said the acquisition of Econdition is in line with its strategy of strengthening its presence on the German market and will increase Swegon’s sales within cooling and especially in the growing segment of data centre cooling.
