TROX UK is nearing the end of latest £1million project in central London supplying its air cooling products to the 1 & 2 New Ludgate project in London
Working again with developer Land Securities, as it has on a number of recent London based concepts, TROX delivered a number of bespoke solutions to ensure the effective air cooling and energy efficiency at the multi-use 382,000 sq ft venue.
The building, which includes office space, restaurant accommodation and retail use, is due for completion in April this year.
Nick Howard, Key Account Manager from TROX, said: “This was a large scale project for us, but very much of the type we are particularly good at because it emphasised our abilities to provide bespoke solutions based on considerable analysis and testing back at our Thetford headquarters.
“The client had chosen us not only for our price competitiveness, but for our customer relations and we are really proud of the way in which the relationship worked so well with them throughout the duration of this assignment.”
Designed by architects Fletcher Priest, the building required TROX UK’s specialist 4-slot diffusers both on the perimeter and internally. Over £500,000 worth of fan coil units were also fitted, with volume regulators.
The project follows a number of significant city installations of late for TROX UK, including ones in London’s 20 Fenchurch Street, and at Glasgow’s SSE Hydro.
Neil Addison, director at TROX UK, added: “This is an exceptional period of growth and contract wins for us as a company, and our reputation is clearly doing us proud within the industry.
“We invest heavily in our staff and in the technical development of the products, so we can be sure that when we are appointed to a project we are not only installing superb equipment, but that we are providing a first rate level of customer service and support.”
