WR Refrigeration makes senior management appointments

WR Refrigeration Limited has announced the appointment of three new directors

Richard Biffin has been promoted to accounts director, with responsibility for specific national accounts.

Richard has nearly 35 years service with the company, having begun his career with O’Gorman’s and rising to become national service manager with Hussmann before that company was taken over by WR Refrigeration.

Richard chairs the British Refrigeration Association’s (BRA) Commercial Contractors’ Section, and represents the BRA on AREA, the European refrigeration and air conditioning contractors’ organisation.

Richard Crotty (pictured) has been appointed account director, with specific responsibility for a major national account. Richard, previously technical services director at epta, is a chartered engineer and holds an MBA from the University of Bradford.

Both will report to WR Refrigeration’s managing director, Mike Nicholas.

The third senior appointment is Brendan Flanagan, who has been promoted to the position of financial director.

Mike Nicholas said: “I am delighted to announce these senior appointments. It is part of our continuing progress in building our leadership capabilities and customer responsiveness. I congratulate Richard Biffin and Brendan Flanagan on their promotions, and welcome Richard Crotty to WR Refrigeration.”

He added: “We are growing significantly, and continuing to expand our offer and the depth of our services to the market. It is an exciting time to be part of the company.”
